Explore the flavors and rich culinary traditions of South America at Del Sur Cafe, located a short walk from the Dupont Circle metro! After moving from Uruguay to DC in 2001, best friends and owners Marcos Sos and Juan Machado dreamed of one day combining their expertise to open a South American restaurant in the District. In 2020, that dream became a reality. 

Led by talented Chef Deborah Chris, Del Sur Cafe’s menu features a delicious array of pan-South American dishes from multiple countries across the continent. Don’t miss their signature Chivito al Pan, a mouthwatering sandwich layered with thinly sliced steak, ham, mozzarella cheese, bacon, boiled eggs, pickled red bell pepper, and fresh lettuce.
