Ferdod Haghighi and Karli Neale opened Designs by Ferdod in 2005 to bring their custom hand-knotted rug studio to Pioneer Square. Ferdod grew up in his family’s high-end rug showroom in Vancouver, BC and now works with skilled Tibetan weavers on limited-edition pieces, with interior designer Karli shaping the design direction. The boutique runs by appointment, with a focus on natural materials, distinctive patterns, and fair wages for the artisans behind every rug.
