El Costeño

Moises Santos’ El Costeño food truck is as well known for its bright orange exterior as it is for its delicious food and friendly service. Located outside of Uncle Ike’s pot shop in Seattle’s Central District, El Costeño offers an expansive menu of Mexican food favorites. Highlights include the Tlayuda — a giant toasted tortilla covered with beans, cabbage, tomato, avocado, cheese, and Rachera steak — as well as the street-style carne asado tacos. Returning customers also praise the elote (Mexican street corn) and pork burritos.

Pro Tip: Ask for a pepper on the side if you want some extra heat!
