This Japanese bakery will transport you straight to Tokyo with its delicious pastry offerings. Grab a steamy cup of coffee and sink your teeth into the daily specialties at Fresh Flours. Husband-and-wife duo Keiji Koh and Etsuko Minematsu opened the first location of their popular bakery in 2005. After nearly two successful decades, they sold the business to brothers and Onda Origins owners Scott and Paul Tupper in 2022.

Today you can find Scott and Paul carrying on Keiji and Etsuko’s legacy by serving up local favorites like azuki red bean croissants and black sesame cookies at their other locations in Beacon Hill, Phinney Ridge, and South Lake Union!

  1. My favorite almond croissant used to be Bakery Nouveau’s twice baked croissant. But since I tried Fresh Flours, I haven’t looked back!!!

Not only is their almond croissant my new favorite, I really like the Red Bean Croissant and Cinnamon Roll. Much of their selection can sell out by noon on the weekends, so make sure you get your pastries early!
