Fuji Bakery is an East-meets-West endeavor, combining ingredients and techniques from Japan and France to create wonders like the Yuzu Bacon Epi. Akihiro Nakamura founded Fuji Bakery to provide Seattle with a Japanese artisan bakery. In 2017 Susien Lee took over, leveraging her passion for French pastry technique to continue Fuji’s tradition of exceptionally delicious baked goods.

Pro tip: Savory kare buns? Malasadas? Yes.

Recommendations:

  1. Their Azuki Donut is my favorite, but you really can’t go wrong. The variety of quality baked goods — both savory and sweet — is overwhelming, and you’ll never leave disappointed. The earlier in the day you go, the better your selection!

  2. Everything I have tried here I love! The malasadas, egg sandwich, humongous cream puffs, cruffins, etc. They are all soo tasty and delicious and fresh. They also do rotational stuff so you will not be bored with the creations they have.

  3. I love Fuji so much, we ordered their macarons and cloufotis for our wedding. Creative delicious and a great place to stop on your way in for a Sounders game
