Good Hand Studio
Heather Anderson began sewing at a young age and believes deeply in the value of making things with care. She founded Good Hand Studio in 2016, providing lessons and workshops designed to introduce children to the world of sewing and to help them build confidence, patience, and problem-solving skills. Private lessons begin for children aged six, while group lessons are offered to ages seven to fourteen. Heather guides her students through the entire creation process from patterns to finished products like backpacks, toys, and t-shirts.
What Heather loves most of all about her classes is watching her students discover the joy of creation just as she did at their age. She encourages her students to develop a deeper appreciation for the work that goes into creating the products they buy.
