Born in Cambodia, Alice Tum was moved to America when she was 19 years old, and first got her hands on Malasadas while visiting the islands of Hawaii. She loved everything about the heavenly delicious, fresh, and hot fried donut rolls in white sugar filled with custard. So much so, that she eventually opened GoodBelly Food Truck in Everett, Washington in 2022.
Alice’s goal is to bring joy and happiness to people’s faces when they get to taste her delightful, warm, and fresh Malasadas! So far, her goal is more than met, as customers are happy to wait in long lines for Alice’s delicious treats.
Fun Fact: Alice’s parents always said if your belly is full it means you are happy, so the name goodbelly = happy in her eyes!
