Han Oak Hot Pot is a nationally-acclaimed Korean restaurant from Peter Cho and Sun Young Park. This is their first restaurant together that came to fruition as the two started their family. As head chef, Peter realized just how much time would be spent away from the family, so the couple decided to open their restaurant in the same building that they live in.
After a pandemic closure, the family reopened Han Oak with a prix fixe, multi-course hot pot menu featuring shaved meats to be swirled in pots of bone broth. With a highly respected menu and a lush backyard, Han Oak Hot Pot is an essential stop if you’re ever in Portland.
