After Lucy Ye graduated from Seattle Culinary Academy, she and Joe Ye worked to open a restaurant in Phinney Ridge in 2020. At Hangry Panda, they make delicious Chinese street food including chicken teriyaki, salt and pepper popcorn chicken, minced pork rice, and sesame scallion noodle nest. Whatever you order, be sure to pair it with a refreshing bubble tea or their signature Panda Milk made with black sesame, milk, and a salted milk cap!

My girlfriend Lucy and I just opened a restaurant called Hangry Panda in the Phinney Ridge / Greenlake area. Lucy just graduated from Seattle Culinary Academy this past Spring and we've been working with one of her mentors to open this restaurant. We sell teriyaki, Asian street eats, and bubble tea. Our street eats are inspired by our hometown regions in China and is very similar to Taiwanese cuisine. Lucy is the head chef and runs the kitchen while I do the front of house and drinks. We're just a two person operation at the moment.
