Howdy Bagel founders and spouses Jake Carter and Daniel Blagovich, driven by their shared love for cooking and food, embarked on their bagel-making journey during the COVID lockdowns. After receiving rave reviews from family and friends, the pair decided to convert their baking passion into a bonafide business and began selling their bagels around Tacoma. In 2023, after years of hard work, they were able to open their brick-and-mortar location on South Tacoma Way. 

Their bagels are made fresh every day, ready to be smeared with one of their delicious cream cheese spreads in flavors like roasted garlic and herb, jalapeno poblano, and lemon dill. Order your bagel as a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and bacon, or opt for the classic lox option topped with cold smoked salmon, red onions, and capers. 

Following a plant-based diet? No worries— most of their bagels are vegan, and they offer a dairy-free cream cheese option as well.
