Sharing your family recipes with the world is an act of intimacy, and it’s something owner Mihyun Han understands. At her restaurant, Hwaban, which she owns with her husband Key Kim, the menu features many of her mother’s recipes, including an elegant three-course Korean dinner that will make family out of whoever you dine with. Hwaban means “as beautiful as a flower” and traditional Korean dishes incorporate local and seasonal produce, presented in a way that lives up to its namesake.

Pro tip: Save room for dessert – the Buttercream Flower Cake and Tropical Pavlova come highly recommended!
