Instituto de Las Américas

Instituto de Las Américas is an English language school that supports the Latin Community in Atlanta, founded by Samuel McVay.

Samuel realized that many Spanish-speaking community members were being turned away from language school nonprofits or public schools because of citizenship status. He found a solution by starting his own private business, Instituto de Las Américas, which allows flexibility to accept all people who are interested in learning the language.

As a Latino- and LGBTQ-owned business, Samuel is focused on supporting individuals within his communities, breaking down language barriers, and helping his students reach personal and professional advancement.
