Jackie’s Place is a women-led, family-operated business, and proud to be Silicon Valley’s only soul food and BBQ restaurant. Founded by Jackie Johnson, it originally started as a catering business in 1998, then launched a bakery in 2013, and finally Jackie’s Place in 2018. Paying homage to her Texas roots, Jackie’s signature dishes include fried catfish, fried chicken and waffles, ribs, and sweet potato pie, among other goodies on the extensive menu. And while Jackie’s Place is settled in the Bay Area, it serves everything big like in Texas.
