Highly regarded as some of the best Ethiopian food in Seattle, Jebena Cafe has been delighting visitors since 2011. Whether you stop in for a cup of hand-roasted coffee or a Jebena Combo with all the traditional fixings, owner Martha Seyoum will greet you with a warm smile. In addition to their freshly made offerings, Jebena Cafe has a market next door that sells coffee, teaware, spices, incense, and more! Oh, and if you want your injera gluten-free, be sure to call ahead of time.
Fun fact: A “jebena” is the traditional container used to brew coffee for an Ethiopian coffee ceremony.
