Dimas Cruz opened La Casa De Amigos in 2021 to share Honduran culture and bring people together through authentic, home-style food. The family-owned food truck serves traditional Honduran street food — including Baleadas, Pollo con Tajadas, Pastelitos, Honduran Enchiladas, and Tajadas Regulares — rooted in recipes passed down from Cruz’s grandmother. Raised in Southern California after immigrating from Honduras, Cruz fuses her Abuela’s original recipes with Southern California flavors to create a menu that reflects her heritage and journey.
