Friends and business partners Brian Tran, Harry Pham, Hana Le, Michelle Pham, and Krissy Ngo came together to build their dream: LÀ LÁ Bakeshop. The Vietnamese bakery offers innovative desserts made with a combination of traditional Vietnamese flavors and Western techniques. The five friends started the bakery as an online business serving Toronto’s Vietnamese diaspora in 2020, and at the urging of their friends, families, and loyal customers, they opened their brick and mortar in 2021.
