Author Sarah Rafael García established LibroMobile Arts Cooperative, a community-based collaboration between a mobile bookstore and a cultural center in 2016 in Santa Ana, California. It serves as the only literary arts cultural center for approximately 300K+ residents in the City of Santa Ana.

LibroMobile builds on the anti-gentrification movement culture and cultivates diversity through literature and the arts by prioritizing Black, Indigenous, and people of color and integrating free reading and writing programs, visual exhibits, and year-round creative workshops.
