Little Miner Taco, a Mexican street food destination known for their birria tacos offers a special perk for kids: they eat for free. They launched the initiative during the pandemic when public schools were unable to provide free lunches due to lockdown measures. Ultimately, however, founders Kathy Voss and Mackenzie Kitburi decided to continue the policy indefinitely. Kathy took over as sole owner in October 2022, continuing the food truck’s mission of providing their community with 100% halal from-scratch food made with fresh ingredients.

Visitors can choose to build their own burrito or bowl with their choice of protein, veggies, and sauce, or they can choose from the menu’s selection of street food favorites. Don’t skip their signature birria de res tacos, served with a side of rich beef consommé for dipping. Check out their other locations in NOMA and Brentwood

Pro-Tip: Head to their website to see where their food trucks are scheduled to appear during the week.
