With the dream of carrying on family traditions of food and entrepreneurship, Jamie Mendez opened Los Agaves to pay homage to his hometown, Mexico City. Known for its al pastor, Jamie Mendez is passionate about showcasing the flavors of authentic Mexican street food. Los Agaves can be found in Post Alley at Pike Place Market, and caters Mexican and Mediterranean dishes for large events.

Fun fact: Jaime is a Ventures alum, and has subsequently served as a mentor to aspiring Latino micro-business owners.

    We enjoyed their chorizo breakfast burrito and carne asada lunch burrito. They don’t skimp on the meat either. Yums!
