When Marcela Anaya’s father was diagnosed with cancer in 2007, her family lost their restaurants and their home. In 2010, an incredible opportunity came along; a restaurant space opened in Chelan that required very little investment. She opened Marcela’s Cocina Mexicana and never looked back. Today, you can stop into the restaurant to enjoy fresh, homemade tortillas, traditional Mexican entrees, and their amazing margaritas!

Fun fact: The restaurant takes pride in their Latinx heritage and contributes to events like the Cinco de Mayo parade and Dia De Muertos!
