Market Fresh has been family-owned since James and Hye Choung first opened its doors in 1990. Their son, Justin Choung, returned from working under notable chefs in Manhattan to help Market Fresh evolve from a self-serve buffet to a restaurant with quick (and contact free if necessary) service and a revamped menu. The new menu is inspired by the casual “family meals” he would make for staff at upscale restaurants and his Korean heritage.
