Mee Sum Pastry is a tiny Chinese bakery with a huge Seattle following. One bite of their BBQ pork hum bow says it all! Mee Sum has always been the single best food stall in the entire Pike Place Market – which is a high mark and as someone who grew up around here – I don’t say this lightly. Their vegetable buns with the sweet and sour sauce have been a long time favorite from my vegetarian days and now that I am including meat again, their bbq pork sticks are perfect for wandering around the market.
