Meet Korean BBQ is the restaurant that allows chef and owner Heong Soon Park to connect with his roots and cook the food he loves most: meat. Heong opened Meet Korean BBQ in 2020 to bring meat, fire, and fermentation to Capitol Hill. Their full service bar features local and Korean beer, a wine list centered on the Pacific Northwest, and specialty Korean cocktails made with soju and spirits. Meet Korean BBQ’s wood-fire grill at the front of the restaurant features marinated meats to be finished at the table, with dishes like bulgogi, bibimbap, and galbi.
