For Washingtonians who hail from Micronesia, it can be hard to find specific ingredients to make their favorite comfort foods. At Micronesian Market, you’ll find the hard-to-find dry goods, canned goods, and produce you’ve been looking for. Tulpe Edwin and her husband Johnston Edwin opened the store in 2010 in an effort to cure their homesickness. Locals are excited to find breadfruit, canned mackerel, Yours Lemon Flavored Powder, and more.

Bonus: The store also carries traditional Micronesian apparel such as island printed shirts, mumu dresses, and accessories.
