MILK+T began in 2015 as the world’s first self-serve boba truck. Owners Stacy Kwong and Beyah del Mundo spent the first 18 months on the road, serving their delicious beverages to a rapidly expanding fanbase. Business was good, with lines around the block, but the two could feel themselves beginning to burn out from the constant travel. They began scouting for a brick-and-mortar store and, in 2017, they officially opened the doors of their Los Angeles Flagship location. A year later, they set their sights on the Pacific Northwest and opened a second spot in Beaverton.

Customization is the name of the game at MILK+T: visitors have the option to select from a wide variety of tea, coffee, and milk-based beverages and can choose to top off their drink with a scoop of ice cream or a drizzle of flavored syrup. They also stock lactose and dairy-free options for those with dietary restrictions. Be sure to check out their third location in Chicago!

Pro-tip: Stop by their website to buy a copy of their cookbook or to sign up for their virtual Boba Class, complete with a make-your-own Boba Kit shipped to your home!
