Luam Wersom began working at Mojito as a dishwasher, and over the years worked his way through the ranks in the kitchen to eventually becoming its sole owner. Along the way, Wersom — originally from Ethiopia — mastered a number of Latin American cuisines and is proud of the restaurant’s authenticity. Mojito has been a staple in the Maple Leaf neighborhood and greater Seattle area for 18 years, serving Latin American and Cuban food. The restaurant’s goal is to bring together amazing food and amazing people in order to enrich their community.
