Molly Ringe was introduced to the natural wine community after receiving a cancer diagnosis in 2001, when she learned that she could no longer drink conventional wine. Nearly two decades later, in 2019 she opened Molly’s Bottle Shop in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, providing space for the community to connect over a glass of natural, organic, mostly biodynamic wine. While the shop is small, there has been a big community response, followed by a second location in West Seattle two years later.

Fun Fact: Natural wine sold at Molly’s Bottle Shop is made with absolutely no herbicides, fertilizers or pesticides in the vineyard, only native yeast, and no additives in the winery.
