Chef Monica Wachira has been passionate about the culinary arts since she was a child and went on to study catering before opening Monique’s Hot Kitchen. Growing up in Kenya, it was common to take freshly picked produce from the garden straight into the kitchen to prepare meals. Now, Monica always chooses the most natural ingredients available. Monique’s Hot Kitchen is vegan and vegetarian friendly, and Monica takes pride in the authenticity of  the African Kenyan dishes she serves.
