Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles combines Louisana and Maryland-style cooking to make the ultimate comfort food experience. Upon entering the restaurant, you’re greeted by their friendly, welcoming staff and catchy New Orleans jazz tunes to set the mood. Kelli and Mark Ferrell opened the restaurant in 2016 and have been serving delicious Cajun-inspired dishes, like spicy fried cajun grit cakes, catfish Po’boys, New Orleans-style beignets, and of course, their namesake and signature chicken and waffles. But make sure you save room for dessert — you can’t leave without trying Nana’s warm banana bread served with a brown sugar glaze that’s made from scratch by Kelly’s nana herself.
