Lifelong competitive figure skater Carey Tinkelenberg wanted to foster an inclusive and challenging learning environment for skaters of all ages. Today, she teaches ice skaters ages four and up through adulthood. Northfield Skating School offers a nationally recognized, U.S. Figure Skating model program and teach for recreational, competitive, and hockey skating goals. The school first opened in 2005 and continues to mentor students to this day.
