Vernon Woodland knew he wanted to pursue the culinary arts from a very young age. He attended a vocational high school and was able to take courses in culinary arts and entrepreneurship. As an adult he discovered veganism. The culmination of Woodland’s culinary prowess and new motivation for global awareness of all natural organic vegan cuisine, NuVegan Café, formerly Woodland’s Vegan Bistro, was established in 2013. 

The menu is packed with vegan deliciousness like their vegan “Chick’n Drummies,” vegan burgers and sandwiches, vegan mac n cheese and even sweets like cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, and cakes. 

Bonus: NuVegan has created youth education initiatives and even a series of ebooks to help people live a plant-based life.
