Before opening OHSUN Banchan Deli & Cafe in 2022, owner Sara Upshaw was a food blogger, cookbook author, and pop-up cook. Now a restauranteur in Seattle’s Pioneer Square neighborhood, she feels she’s finally fulfilling her purpose. Sara cares immensely for those she feeds. She makes sure her dishes will provide comfort and that everyone walks away satisfied. Fun Fact: The restaurant is named in honor of Sara’s halmoni (grandmother), the matriarch of her family.
