When you walk into Ono Poke, you’ll be transported to Oahu. In an effort to distinguish the restaurant from “trendy” poke places, Hawaii-born Steven Ono is serving the authentic recipes he grew up on. The restaurant offers a variety of marinated fish including tuna, salmon, and octopus alongside sides and salads of seaweed, tofu, mac salad, and cucumber kimchi! You’ll notice that this is the spot Hawaiian locals flock to — and for good reason.
Fun fact: The fish is flown in fresh every day from Hawaii, Japan, and Alaska.
