Peter Miller opened his namesake architecture and design bookshop in 1980, and after stops elsewhere in Seattle, brought it back to its Pioneer Square roots in 2017. The shop carries roughly 8,000 in-print and out-of-print titles on architecture, design, landscape design, typography, and graphic and commercial design, drawing aficionados from around the world. Alongside the books, it sells carefully chosen pens, pencils, leadholders, sharpeners, and markers from makers like Lamy, Caran d’Ache, and Rotring.
