Ping Liu’s dumplings are made using a recipe from her hometown Qingdao, in northern China, that has been handed down over three generations. At her small restaurant, Ping’s Dumpling House, she serves homemade dumplings at an unbeatable price.
I am always love the conversation about where to find the best xiao long bao in Seattle because there are a couple of different teams, but I stand by Pings being the absolute best! Location? Check! Quality? Of course! Quantity? oh yea! Value? The best! I’ve ordered them multiple times for takeout over the pandemic and I am so happy with how they’ve held up way better than I would’ve anticipated. The rest of the menu is great as well, and it is a perfect location to take it to the park.
I love asking Ms.Ping for a recommendation in addition to my usual Xiao long bao and pan fried gyozas. I’ve enjoyed everything so far! Over the president’s, wet order online and it has been easy to pick up.
