POT is a community pottery studio owned, operated by, and intended for people of color. Mandy Kolahi founded POT in 2017 to celebrate the cultures and communities surrounding us through the ancient art form of pottery that connects so many of us. Mandy and the team at POT recognize a need for a space that feels accessible and empowering for those that felt marginalized in ceramic spaces – namely persons of color and the queer community. Pottery is full of creative, therapeutic, and cultural elements and Mandy wants everyone to be able to enjoy it, from the most experienced potter to clay newbies.
