Prince Pückler’s Ice Cream is a family-owned business that has been serving delicious ice cream in Eugene, Oregon since 1975. Founded by Jim and Lolly Robertson, the ice cream store was one of the pioneers that brought a change to the food scene in Eugene. Their store was among the few that were open late, and customers of all ages queued up for the special sundaes they offered. Over the years, Prince Pückler’s Ice Cream expanded. Today, Prince Pückler’s ice cream is still made at a small warehouse in the Whiteaker Area, mostly by Jim & Lolly’s daughter, Laura.

The store has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the managers at the 19th St. location have been with the company for over 20 years, often knowing customers’ orders before they ask. Stop in for a scoop, a sundae, a milkshake or even a tub of their many delicious flavors of ice-cream. From fresh banana, to fudge brownie or french roast and even green tea flavored ice cream, there is something for everyone.

Bonus: Prince Pückler’s Ice Cream also offers low-fat and dairy-free options.
