Enjoy Mexican food with Pacific Northwest flavors at Raíz, a cozy eatery in Phinney Ridge. Chef Ricardo Valdes launched the spot with his friend Kenny Villegas in 2019, serving Mexico City-inspired cuisine crafted from locally-sourced ingredients. Their menu features dishes like rockfish ceviche served with corn chips and coconut milk aguachile, crispy rice bowls with sturgeon, roasted veggies, and cilantro aioli, and Salish Sea halibut with white beans and salsa macha.
