RAWish is a walk-up raw vegan restaurant offering healthy options packed with nutrients. Owners and spouses Taneea and James Yarborough went vegan in 2018 after Taneea was diagnosed with cancer. The two started their first business, Gangster Vegan, while she was undergoing treatment. In 2021, now cancer-free, Taneea and her husband opened RAWish in D.C.’s Western Market food hall.

Their menu options are mostly raw, soy-free, and free of added sugars or sweeteners. For a delicious lunch, pick up their Mexi-Buddha bowl topped with walnut taco meat, pickled onion, black means, and cilantro sauce. Or, if you want something on the sweeter side of things, try a slice of their peanut butter cream pie, sweetened with dates and agave nectar.

They also offer a variety of cold-press juices, smoothies, and wellness shots!
