Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary takes a community-first approach to animal rescue! In 2019, after years of working in animal care, Erin Handley, Shaina Ward Siegel, and Michael Ezzo decided to launch their own sanctuary. Their Fremont facility is open to anyone who wants to hang out and socialize with their animals— no admission or motive required.
Adoption surveys are processed on a rolling basis and remain on file for up to one year. If you’re not quite ready to commit, they also offer a variety of flexible foster care options aimed to fit any lifestyle!
