Rize Up Bakery started in 2020 as a home project to channel energy after the murder of George Floyd. Owner Azikiwee Anderson wanted to provide something healing and comforting to his community during the social unrest that overlapped the pandemic and found his small operation turning into a full-scale bakery soon after. Specialty sourdough loaves include the OG, garlic confit and thyme, and ube, just to name a few. Other bake delights include croutons, hoagies, crostinis, and a Sunday Morning Biscuit Mix to make at home.
