​Raised in Seattle with roots in California and Vietnam, Helen Nguyen has always had a passion for food. After moving to New York and attending the Institute of Culinary Education, she opened her first restaurant, Saigon Social, in 2019. Nestled in the Lower East Side, the restaurant serves Vietnamese comfort foods like garlic noodles and oxtail fried rice.

Chef Nguyen also offers a selection of cocktails, mocktails, and wines by the glass, as well as Vietnamese lager, soft drinks, and iced coffee.
