Salmon Creek Cafe was established in 2017 by EJ Kim, who decided to open the cozy cafe in Burien after years of dreaming about it. Alonso Camacho, who started as a chef in 2019 took, over Salmon Creek Cafe in March 2021. Known as the “Home of High 5 Pie,” Salmon Creek serves up vintage-style homemade pies in four delicious flavors — Classic Apple, Cherry, Marionberry, and Key lime — which are also available by the slice. The cafe offers breakfast all day long, alongside its lunch and dinner options, and brunch on weekends.

I feel like this is one of those neighborhood gems that more people need to know about. It’s been awhile since I’ve been here, but I remember their food and service still! The menu offers a variety of options had brunch and can’t say enough how great the food and service was. They make a lot of in house pastries as well!
