Located in Seattle’s historic Pioneer Houses, San Fermo serves rustic Southern Italian fare. Co-owners Tim Baker, Wade Weigel, Jeff Ofelt, and Scott Shapiro opened San Fermo in 2016 to bring straight-forward Italian food done well to the Ballard community. The charming Italian restaurant offers fresh handmade pasta — including a saffron spaghetti bolognese and bucatini alla carbonara — as well as other flavor-packed entrees, like braised short ribs and squid ink campanelle.
