Michelle Sawyer began her career as a pediatric nurse for 33 years before retiring and starting scratch family bakery + local market in the historic Five Points neighborhood in Denver, Colorado in 2022.
Michelle aims to serve the community with sweet treats! She learned to bake from her Italian mother and grandmother and she loves to bake family recipes and share them with her neighbors, visitors, and friends. scratch is a traditional, gluten-free, and vegan bakery.
