Baking and icing sugar cookies with grandma is one of Kayla Heffner’s earliest memories. But it wasn’t until she got her hands on a KitchenAid mixer in her first college apartment that she reconnected to her love of creating treats.

Fast forward to 2017, Kayla now owns and works as head baker at Seatown Sweets in Kirkland, WA. Her shop is known for its dreamy buttercream cakes, mini cheesecakes, cupcakes, and yes — sugar cookies. Need to lock in desserts for your next gathering or big event?
