Bronwen launched Shotgun Ceremonies in 2010 to give couples a fun, low-stress way to get married without all the fuss of a traditional wedding. After nearly a decade in Pioneer Square, she moved the chapel to its current home in Georgetown’s Trailer Park Mall in 2020. The whole idea is to be the in-between, not a courthouse, not a big wedding, but something that actually feels like you. Ceremonies are held in a one-of-a-kind shipping container chapel, an open-air gazebo, or at one of three Georgetown bars on the pub crawl wedding package. Packages start at $500, Elvis is genuinely an option, and pets are not just allowed but encouraged.
