Jewel Sam-Kpakra acquired SODO Pizza in 2016 to carry on a beloved Seattle institution and make it her own. The pizzeria got its start in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood in the early 2000s, and after nearly two decades serving the lunch crowd there, Jewel relocated it to Redmond in September 2025. The menu is classic American-style pizza, with a crust that hits that just-right middle ground, a signature red sauce, and a solid lineup of toppings to choose from.
