Oscar Mendez started his business first by selling at farmer’s markets. He knew he wanted to be his own boss, and through much determination and grit, worked his way to opening a popular Food Truck, Taqueria Los Chilango, with his wife Noemi.
Noemi’s business-focused mind was the perfect ingredient to add to Oscar’s cooking knowledge to create a recipe for success, and they both set their minds to learning how to make the business grow. Their goal is simple: serve authentic Mexico City-style street food that is consistently delicious and always affordable.
In addition to food truck locations in Bellevue and Kirkland, Taqueria Los Chilango has now opened a restaurant in Redmond, Washington as well!
