The Branch

If you’re hungry for a tall beer and a chicken fried steak, you can get it “Texas size” at this Houston hub. Husband-wife duo Kyle and Amanda Pierson own and operate neighborhood favorite, The Branch. It’s a bit out-of-the-way for some Houston residents, but they come out in droves to drink local craft beer and nosh on a hearty meal. You’ll even find that craft beer t-shirts adorn the walls at this popular watering hole.

Fun fact: You’ll often find at least a few Belgian beers on tap because Amanda and Kyle both did a stint at Belgian beer bars.
